Harper Macaw

Naming, Brand Strategy, Brand, Identity System, Packaging.

Challenge:

Harper Macaw was halfway through a rebrand when the owners changed the name. The team at Design Army had already developed the mainline of packaging and the new logo needed to work inside the existing shape, a diamond. It also needed to connect to the new name and origin of their chocolate, Brazil's rainforest.

Solution:

The logo mark was inspired by tribal masks worn by native rainforest tribes. It's a blend of the Harper Eagle and Macaw. Their mark needed to also function after being molded into chocolate, we ensured that by making it simple and bold with plenty of space between each shape.
